You are invited to at unionlearn's sixth annual conference on Monday 25 June. The event will be held here at Congress House in London and is entitled 'Skilling a Future That Works'.
The conference is of course a chance to celebrate our work over the past year as well as looking forward to the year ahead and we will be celebrating achievements with the unionlearn Quality Awards.
This year we have changed the format of the conference, in response to feedback. The new format will make it more effective and provide more opportunities for delegates to attend workshops and experience practical learning which you can take back to your unions and workplaces.
This year the conference will be a half day event. It will begin with a range of national speakers (including TUC general secretary Brendan Barber in his last unionlearn conference before he retires), and discussions and we'll be showing some new films.
The workshops will cover a range of topics from green skills and apprenticeships to using skills and community learning.
The conference will start slightly earlier this year, running from 10am until 1pm with lunch and a chance to network and to visit the exhibition stands. Registration will start at 9am with tea and coffee.
